Step 1: Teach Your Student How to Effectively Take Tests

I use my own proprietary process called The QUEST Method, which you can learn more about right here.

Step 2: Assess Your Student’s Current Understanding of The Subject Material

For Math & Science: I’ll review their grade history, look deeper into the specific lessons they struggled with, and together we will delve deeper and review these concepts to catch them up and strengthen their foundational knowledge of the subject material. We practice 5 example questions at a time. They give their answers, I gauge their confidence level, and we review incorrect answers immediately to begin building knowledge and confidence.

Step 3: Create a Clear Pathway to Better Grades & Test Scores

Together, we’ll decide and commit to a weekly meeting schedule, maintain constant communication, and work towards our end goal: a full letter grade increase.
